KidzWorld Information



KIDZWorld is a summer day camp for campers 4 - 13 years of age. We offer many activities including swimming, arts and crafts, games, movies, and field trips. This summer’s program locations are planned for Brooking Park’s air-conditioned concession building, Ed Davis Learning Center, and The Pavilion. 4 & 5 year olds will meet at The Pavilion. The Tweens will meet at the Ed Davis Learning Center. Site locations are subject to change.

Regular program hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PMCampers must be in attendance by 9:00 AM, though there may be some field trips that require children to meet at their site earlier than 9:00 AM. 

Lunch will be provided while the Scott County Schools’ Summer Feed program is in operation. However,parents may be asked to provide a sack lunch for field trips, on the Summer Feed program training day, and special activity days. The Summer Feed program is scheduled to end late July and parents will be responsible for furnishing a daily lunch for their camper the last 2 weeks of the program.  


Registration begins March 1st. The cost per session is $425.00. No discounts will be given during regular registration. If you opt to utilize a payment plan, a minimum payment of $125 is required at the time of registration.

Scholarships are accepted March 1st – May 18th ONLY!

There are a limited number of scholarships that can be applied to the KidzWorld program. Those seeking a Parks and Recreation scholarship must come to the Pavilion to complete the scholarship application. You will be required to bring proof of income and verification of residency for all household members. Parks and Recreation scholarships may be applied to most programs within Parks and Recreation, including daily admittance to the Pavilion. An approved application must be on file before a scholarship discount is applied for any program or Pavilion admittance. Scholarship discounts are based on household income as well as the number of household members.
